Will you Make your voice heard on Pluralism in Israel?

Please join with me Monday night at 7 pm at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills for an important discussion on Pluralism in Israel.

This is a follow up to Anat Hoffman’s recent arrest at the Western Wall while leading a group of Hadassah women in the Shema prayer on Rosh Hodesh.  Hadassah was in Israel to celebrate its 100th Anniversary.  Anat Hoffman who is the executive director of the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC), as chair woman of Women of the Wall raises an important question about pluralism in Israel and the role of women and men in a Jewish democratic state.

On Monday evening the Consul General of Israel David Siegel will speak along with a diverse panel of rabbis, Rabbi Laura Geller of Temple Emanuel, Rabbi Yosef Kanefsky of B’nai David Judea, Rabbi Nicole Guzik of Temple Sinai and Rabbi Judith HaLevy, Rabbi of Malibu Jewish Center and current President of the Board of Rabbis. The evening will be moderated by Rob Eshman, editor of the Jewish Journal.

This will be a very important evening especially in light of the recent days of escalated conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
