She will be speaking about LGBT rights in Africa and the great work of American Jewish world service. This is a co-sponsored event with AJWS, Kol Ami and the City of West Hollywood‘s Humanitarian Speaker Series. It will be held at the synagogue, 1200 N. La Brea. We are thrilled that the Mayor, John Heilman will be a part of the evening leading a Q & A with Ruth.
