Dad Day

It’s Father’s Day! Happy Day to all you Dads out there in blog land.  There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss my own father who has been dead 17 years.

Father’s Day is not as popular as Mother’s Day. Not as many flowers are sold. And not as many phone calls made.  Why is that?  Don’t Dads like to hear from their kids? Father’s Day was invented as a complement to Mother’s Day in the early 20th century.

If you are a Dad-spend some time with your kids-no matter their age. Hang out! Share a laugh! Just be together.
If you have a Dad- spend some time with him and cherish him.  Find something in common to do!

I wish I could spend some time with my dad.

What are your memories of your father?
