MLK Goes to Washington

This weekend is the dedication of the Martin Luther King, Jr monument in our Nation’s Capitol.  It is also the anniversary of his “I Have A Dream” Speech given on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in August 28, 1963.

The Memorial called the “Stone of Hope” and pictured here below also includes quotes from his speeches.

It sits between the Lincoln Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial.

This weekend think about MLK’s legacy to our country and to the conversation of equality!  And do something in his honor and in his memory.
