With Hurricane Irene about to pounce on the East Coast, the dedication of the new MLK memorial has been postponed.

Even as new cracks have been found in the Washington Monument from last week’s unusual 5.8 Virginia earthquake, I can’t help but wonder if those in government who dilly dally around on both sides of the aisles might take a huge hint.  Stop wasting time.  Even the earth is talking to you.

Have some courage and get something done.  I know you all are out on summer break.  But the country hasn’t even noticed  you were gone since you do so little anyway.
